A National Desk to boost access to R&D funding

The ICAMCYL Foundation, together with the Aragonese Institute of Technology (ITA), has been appointed as a managing partner of the ISMC National Desk, a new service launched by the Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) to facilitate access for sector companies to the main national funding programmes for R&D and innovation projects.

This service marks a further step in ICAMCYL's commitment to strengthening the innovation ecosystem within the critical raw materials and sustainable mining sectors, making our expertise in project management and public funding available to all cluster member companies.

What is the ISMC National Desk?

The National Desk is a comprehensive support service designed to help companies turn their innovative ideas into successfully funded projects. It focuses particularly on identifying and applying for national funding instruments such as those offered by CDTI (Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology) and other leading R&D&I calls in Spain.

What services does it provide?

Through this service, ISMC member companies will have access to:

• Expert advisory support on national funding for R&D and innovation projects
• Identification of the most suitable national calls for each project (CDTI, PERTE, Misiones, etc.)
• Technical and strategic assessment of the project's potential and feasibility
• Support in drafting and structuring funding proposals
• Personalised and confidential guidance throughout the entire process
• End-to-end support in the submission, execution and financial justification of funded projects

ICAMCYL and ITA's role

The ICAMCYL Foundation brings to this service extensive knowledge in managing research, development and innovation projects in the fields of raw materials, applied geology and the energy transition, as well as broad experience in accessing national and European funding instruments. Together with ITA, a reference centre for industrial technological innovation, we form a strong, specialist team at the service of cluster companies.
