At ICAMCyL we are looking for a European Project Manager/profile to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The EU Project Manager and the Innovation Procurement Assistant will be directly involved in the Foundation/Cluster’s European activities. In addition, it should coordinate with the General and Administrative Directorate for the correct justification of the projects, as well as in the guidance to technologists to complete the execution of the same
The candidate shall be responsible for the following tasks:
- Institutional relations: support to attend events and find partners (during B2B, F2F and virtual meetings with partners or potential customers), explore cooperation and interesting business opportunities for the company in line with its core activities.
- Development of specific products and activities within EU R&D projects.
- Assistance to the economic and financial management of European projects: regular financial statements and preparation of audits (experience in Horizon 2020. Interreg...)
- Drafting and preparing new proposals: written support for project proposals.
- Implementation of the projects.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years of experience as coordinator/coordinator of international R&D&I programs.
- In-depth knowledge of the Horizon Europe programme, in particular of programmes, partnerships, major initiatives and public and private actors. Experience in the previous Horizon 2020 framework programmes.
- Experience in the administrative justification of international projects.
- Experience in international partnerships. Experience in Interreg-Eu or similar projects will be particularly valued.
- Skills to explore and learn about international funding opportunities from both public and private institutions.
- Extensive experience in writing and reviewing European proposals and managing international R&D&I projects
- In-depth knowledge of the financing entities and managers of R&D&I programs, both national and international, as well as of the national and European Technology Platforms.
- Great ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and adaptability to different sectors.
- Ability to adapt to a team environment, highly confidential, constantly changing and with demanding timelines.
- Very high level of English. Essential.
- Analytical skills for the exploitation and promotion of research and development projects. Preparing to face new challenges, able to work under pressure and accustomed to EU deadlines. Ability to work effectively as a team member, flexibility and high motivation
- Resolute approach, proactive and resolute attitude.
- Availability to travel to international meetings.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Positive working environment, with a professional team in a dynamic Foundation in development.
- Full-time employment ( 37 hours per week)
- Annual contract, renewable with guarantee of indefinite contract depending on the experience.
- Immediate incorporation.
- The salary will be based on qualifications and experience. (25,000-45,000 gross/year)
- Possibility of teleworking or hybrid work
