At ICAMCyL we are looking for a profile of Coordinator/General and the EU Project Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES


The person hired will promote the positioning of the ICAMCyL Foundation in major initiatives promoted in Horizon Europe, such as partnerships or missions, and promote excellence and talent attraction. It will coordinate the implementation of all international initiatives carried out by the Foundation. It should coordinate with the General and Administrative Directorate for the correct justification of projects, as well as in the guidance to technologists/ as to complete the execution of projects.

In addition, it will also be responsible for the activities of the new network of technology centers in Castile and León where ICAMCyL is a member.

We are looking for a person with leadership and dynamism and with experience in coordinating teams, preferably with a degree in Science or Engineering with a PhD. MBA or similar will be valued.

It will also be responsible for coordinating both the application of new projects and the implementation of the various European projects that the Foundation has under way, coordinate dedicated teams as well as identifying to promote and manage new opportunities for high value and impact projects.

EXPERIENCE

 

  • At least 5 years of experience as coordinator/coordinator of international R&D&I programmes. The experience of managing an international project office in a relevant institution is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Horizon Europe programme, in particular of programmes, partnerships, major initiatives and public and private actors. Experience in the previous Horizon 2020 framework programmes.
  • Experience in the administrative justification of international projects.
  • Experience in international partnerships. Experience in Interreg-Eu or similar projects will be particularly valued.
  • Skills to explore and learn about international funding opportunities from both public and private institutions.
  • Extensive experience in writing and reviewing European proposals and managing international R&D&I projects
  • In-depth knowledge of the financing entities and managers of R&D&I programs, both national and international, as well as of the national and European Technology Platforms.
  • Great ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and adaptability to different sectors.
  • Ability to manage teams and report in an orderly manner, with outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to a team environment, highly confidential, constantly changing and with demanding timelines.
  • Very high level of English. Essential.
  • Analytical skills for the exploitation and promotion of research and development projects. Preparing to face new challenges, able to work under pressure and accustomed to EU deadlines. Ability to work effectively as a team member, flexibility and high motivation
  • Resolute approach, proactive and resolute attitude.
  • Availability to travel to international meetings.

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

  • Positive working environment, with a professional team in a dynamic Foundation in development.
  • Full-time employment ( 37 hours per week)
  • Annual contract, renewable with guarantee of indefinite contract depending on the experience.
  • Immediate incorporation.
  • The salary will be based on qualifications and experience. (30,000-45,000 gross/year)
  • Possibility of teleworking or hybrid work
